Our lives today are overrun by choices and options. Legal rulings and standards in the education world are dynamic and can often be complicated. Soulful Studies demystifies the opportunities that exist and help you choose what's best for your school, child and family.
Schools: Professional Development
This workshop is designed to give an understanding of the Classical model of education and its similarities to Traditional and Liberal education. The workshop helps breakdown the trivium and clarify its role in an alternative school.
This follow up workshop is designed to move educators from the theoretical to the pedagogical realm of a classical education. Each session will provide hands on training and opportunities for exploration of various pedagogical tools and techniques to be implemented in alternative model schools.
The workshop on Socratic Seminars covers both the theoretical foundations, pedagogical implementations and instructional strategies of incorporating the Classical approach to discussions in the classroom.
This workshop is geared for K-8, all subject area teachers as the CCSS requires all teachers to integrate writing into their subject areas. This workshop gives practical applications of varied writing projects in different classrooms/subject areas while assisting teachers to teach writing in a structured, cohesive manner so students get a standard message across grades and curriculum.
Although integral and basic in all teacher education programs, planning lessons can be redundant or boring. This workshop covers new, innovative strategies to lesson plan without getting bogged down by the mundane.
Custom Consultations give the institution the opportunity to engage with our Education Consultant and decide which of our existing programs would be best suited for them. During this session, we will also be able to discuss the design and implementation of a customized solution for your institution's specific needs. Custom consultations are a minimum of two hours with the program managers in your institution.
